BackgroundCreated in 1998 by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris,
the TEF (Test d’Evaluation de Français) is an internationally-accepted
measure of French language competence.
LevelsCandidates are assessed on 6 levels (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2) as per the
Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Some language schools offering TEF preparation courses- Accord - Paris / Les Grands Boulevards
(14, boulevard Poissonnière, Paris) - Accord is a well-known language school in Paris.
Every year, the school is attended by students of over 50 nationalities.
