Montreal

Studying in Montreal has certain advantages for North American students: for one, the city is conveniently located on the same contintent. The costs of studying and living are lower than in Paris. Brussels (Bruxelles in the French spelling) is not exclusively French-speaking: some of its residents speak the Flemish dialect of Dutch, but the majority are francophone and the city could be an interesting choice for those wishing to avoid Paris yet who would still like to study in a large European city.

Canada

  The test is the equivalent of the TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) in English. It evaluates the French level of non-francophones. The format is multiple choice. TFI results are accepted in Canada, but not widely recognized in other countries.
